Guitar learning could start with the music that draws a learner in. A mentor would help translate that interest into a realistic next step, whether it is finding a rhythm, playing a first phrase or developing a piece. Learners would try short practice activities, listen to their own progress and exchange ideas with others. Previous experience would shape the challenge. Instrument suitability and access would need to be discussed with the team before a place is agreed.
