Support for families

More room for learning. More support for you.

Explore a learning community built around young people’s interests, with mentors, resources and practical support for homeschooling families.

SHAPED AROUND YOUR FAMILY

Start with your learner’s interests and the support you need. Talk with our Canberra team about what is available now.

Our programme plans bring the same approach into focused subjects: learner choice, practical experience, mentoring and reflection. Explore the AICADE partnership alongside proposed Free Path programmes in speaking, drama, guitar, music and practical projects. Outlines and suggested age groups are available to discuss; dates, fees and places still need confirmation.

Self-directed exploration

Accessible materials help learners move from curiosity to trying, making and investigating. Play and personal interests guide exploration.

A voice in the community

Learners vote in weekly meetings about resources and mentors. Mixed-age interaction gives young people room to connect through shared interests.

Healthy habits and reflection

Adults model goal setting and reflection. A notebook connects a morning goal review, notes at lunch and reflection with family at dinner. Learners choose their own next steps.

Homeschooling support

Ask about help with homeschooling applications, learning programmes and annual reports. The Canberra team can explain current support.

Tell us which part of home education you are considering and what would make a practical difference: resources, people to learn alongside, mentor conversations or organising learning records. Existing homeschoolers and families considering the change can start with their own questions.

Mentors and next steps

Explore internships, apprenticeships, university portfolios or entrepreneurship with a mentor. Staff conversations can be requested; transport is considered case by case.

Future centres · our ambition

The larger-centre vision includes spaces for music, art, technology, games, practical workshops and outdoor exploration. Gardens, specialist facilities and residential camps are future ambitions. Ask which resources are available in Greenway now.
